Meditation and mindful breathing for actors.

Improve your audition skills and you’re acting through meditation and proper breathing.

Did you know…

Regular practice of meditation can improve the immune system, release positive hormones, increase relaxation, and reduce stress?

Meditation can also reduce depressive thinking, improve concentration, and increase resilience – which makes it easier to take everyday challenges in stride.

Meditation can boost compassion (toward ourselves and others), and open us to more positive emotional states.

Meditation can improve your audition skills, your ability to stay focused on the set up and your ability to stay calm under the stresses of the industry.

For actors, it’s a must to learn skills that increase your ability to calm and focus yourself, to stay grounded and mindful within a challenging role, to deal with the challenges of the audition process and help an actor to be steady-and-ready under possible stresses of working on a set.

Join us at the Actor’s Lab to learn and try meditation and mindful breathing practices that can support what you do.
