Montgomery County PA Youth Acting Classes

We offer specialized child acting classes in Montgomery County at Organic Acting Academy. Acting classes are a very innovative way for children to develop personal skills, confidence, and emotional intelligence. In addition, it will help your child to constructively exercise their creative imaginations. Even if your goal isn’t to make your child the next debut star, it will help them in many other areas of social and creative life.

Our program for children is an eight week course that will introduce your child to the fundamentals of acting for television and film. The course is divided into two sectors. The first half of the program is dedicated to skill development, and the second to performance.

Fundamental Skill Development: The first four weeks are focused on introducing fundamental acting skills through a variety of games and exercises. These strategic games are meant to increase listening ability, develop creativity, and increase awareness of others in the context of acting. We also work on developing organic on-screen movement. In order to introduce critical thinking for acting, we closely analyze scenes and character development. We also work will commercial scripts and voice over techniques.

Performance: The second half of the program is dedicated to rehearsal. During this half, your child builds team working skills and prepares an original scene or chooses one to perform. At the course’s conclusion we hold a performance for the parents.
