New Commercial Audition Workshop!

In this Commercial Audition Workshop, actors will participate in real world mock auditions, callbacks and on set commercial work. Different genres will be covered – such as direct to camera spokesperson, spokesman in a two character spots, partner scenes, group scenes, with dialogue, “making it your own” as well as m.o.s. The business of commercial auditioning and acting will be thoroughly discussed, including, on set dynamics, agents relations and more. Actors will have their commercial questions answered and leave more confident and inspired toward forward to auditions, callback and bookings.

Sidney Williams has lived in New York city and worked as a professional actor for over 25 years. He has performed on stage Off Broadway, New York Theatre, Regional Theatre and in Europe. He has worked in films (such as Jack Goes Boating and Handsome Harry) and on TV series including the Sopranos, Louie and Royal Pains. Since 2001 he has worked in over 20 SAG television commercials – Staples, TGI Friday’s, Torengo’s and AOL are examples of large National Network Campaigns. He has directed acting workshops with the LAByrinth Theatre Company (Company Member since 2006) at NYU. He is also a member of the Actors Studio.
