We’ll look at script, story structure, how to get started, and how to make sure you finish! Using examples from popular movies, we’ll cover the basics of script formatting, as well as outlines, set-ups and pay-offs, and how to write beats, scenes, dialogue and characters that jump off the page. Join us – whether you want to make a movie, sell a script, creative expression or write just for fun!

Writing workshop led and taught by Darren Croucher

Darren Croucher has books out on Amazon (ALTERED and CORRUPTED, books one and two of the YA sci-fi series Altered Sequence). Several of his TV and movie scripts have placed highly in screenplay competitions – for which he’s been invited to Los Angeles to meet with studio executives. Darren has also had several short stories published. He focuses on and is a fan of sci-fi and superheroes, but is well versed in all genres. He has a Masters in creative writing from Bath Spa University in England.
